Terms and Conditions

  1. The amount of time taken to repair specified faults is only an estimate. This time is not guaranteed and is dependant on the availability of parts and/or current workload.
  2. All our repair work is guaranteed for 90 days providing the TFix Repairs warranty seal is not tampered with or removed as well as original invoice is present. TFix Repairs does not offer a cash refund for any devices we repair.
  3. TFix Repairs reserves the right to withhold your device until payment is received. If after 2 weeks payment has not been received we are authorised to charge a storage fee of £5/week or use it as we see fit.
  4. In rare cases while we are trying to investigate or repair the cause of a devices problem, symptoms might worsen. We are in no way liable for this.
  5. When a console such as an Xbox 360 has been repaired for a ring problem like three red lights but then comes up with two lights or one you are not under warranty as these are different errors.
  6. Please note that when a device is sent or brought to our workshop we will only repair the fault you have requested, however we may call you to advise you about another fault.
  7. If your console has been reflowed on Xbox 360 or PS3 this has nothing to do with laser or drive problems as they are separate parts of the console and the faults are not connected.
  8. If the manufacturers seal on your device is broken, your warranty with the manufacturers is void. We are not liable as it is your decision to have the device repaired and we may need to break the seal. Please note that in rare cases if you have sent your device or used our collection service and it has been repaired but breaks down during the 90 days with the same error you the customer will be responsible for any postage charges. If it is a different error you are not covered.
  9. Please note before or during the course of repair, it may be necessary to clear data stored on your device's memory. We are sorry but as stated this is only done if necessary. Please ensure that your data is backed up prior to sending or bringing in your device to us as we cannot guarantee that your data will be retained.
  10. TFix Repairs quotes cannot be guaranteed until your device has been tested and you will be informed about the repair price.
  11. Warranty repairs only cover parts that have been replaced or repaired. This means we will not repair faults under warranty that have been caused by physical damage or negligence on the part of the user.
  12. TFix Repairs reserves the right to determine the cause of the fault. In some instances repairing your device means your serial number will change.
  13. TFix Repairs reserves the right replace your device with a second hand unit of the same condition.

Returns

We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from TFix Repairs. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us. Return conditions only applies to items and NOT services sold by TFix Repairs.
  1. If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.
  2. If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's no more than 90 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair.
  3. If you have simply changed your mind about any item/service ordered and you wish to cancel/return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 working days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at TFix Repairs, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method.
